Some people think technology is confusing, others think it's helpful. It depends on the person and what their opinion is. I agree with both sides of the argument. When it comes to Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace, it can be easy and helpful to connect with friends and new people but more difficult when it comes down to the actual computer technology. Either way, I can work with both pretty well but prefer the Facebook route. (Probably because thats the less confusing one for me) However, there are probably many people that disagree with me, and might think that computer "technology" is easier and more helpful with many different tasks. It may be because thats what they are good at, or it might be that they have never had a myspace account or care to ever have one and see what all the talk is about. Some people believe that having a Twitter or Facebook or even a cell phone can break down real socializing. Which honestly can be true. You may text someone every day but have only talked to them once in your entire life, or chat with them via Facebook but might not have ever met them. And while these technologies might break down socialism, it could also make it stronger. You could find an old highschool friend that you might never would have talked to them again without usind the "friend finder" on Facebook. It doesnt matter which side you agree with, it's everyone's personal opinion, and we all think differently about it. But one thing's for sure, without the technology we have today, we wouldn't be able to do a lot of the things we have done. |
